Andy Katzenmoyer Owner, Head Coach, Programming, CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Gymnastics

Andy has always had a passion for training. Starting in the seventh grade you would have found him the weight room.

As he progressed to high school, college and professional football, Andy not only prepared his body but also his knowledge of training.

After Andy’s playing career ended his passion for training still continued. Studying and learning from some the greatest strength and conditioning coaches in the world Charles Poliquin, Dave Kennedy, Mike Woicik, Michael Boyle, Louie Simmons, Tom Shaw and Nelson Ayotte to name a few.

Andy and his wife, Tricia, operate Katzenmoyer Performance. They have 3 children, Griffin, Avery and Ava.

 

Tricia Katzenmoyer Owner, Personal Trainer, CrossFit Level 2

Tricia has been a lifelong athlete and has always enjoyed keeping an active lifestyle. She has spent the last 6 years dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals as a personal trainer and a Certified CrossFit trainer (CF-L2). Her motivation lies in seeing the small improvements in strength, stamina, and mobility that her clients make over time.

Tricia was primarily a runner until 2012 when she began lifting weights. She saw changes in her strength levels, her appearance, and her overall confidence, and realized she had truly found her passion. She loves passing along her love of strength training and functional fitness to those she trains at KP, regardless of their age, gender, or ability.

Tricia operates KP with her husband Andy. She enjoys spending time at home with their children and dogs who keep her very busy and active. She also enjoys reading, doing anything outdoors, and traveling with her family.

Adam Moravitz- CrossFit Level 2

Adam is currently a CrossFit Level II Certified trainer and has been coaching physical
fitness for over twenty years, coaching Crossfit specific training since 2008. He has
served in the Army for over twenty five years and is currently on Active Duty with the
Army National Guard in Columbus, Ohio. In 2009, he incorporated CrossFit into the
training regimen within his National Guard unit which directly resulted in a 25% overall
increase of Army Physical Fitness Test scores within six months.

Adam is inspired by seeing the physical and emotional improvements of those he coaches and is passionate
about helping athletes understand the functional aspect of what CrossFit brings to
conditioning. One of Adam’s primary motivations for coaching CrossFit and living an
active lifestyle is to continuously challenge and improve himself and others. Adam and
his wife Jill are proud to be raising two young daughters in an active environment by
teaching them the importance of overall fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

 

Sheryl Prichard- CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Endurance

Sheryl is a Prosecuting Attorney for Franklin County by day but feeds her love of Crossfit by
training at the 6am class and coaching twice a week. Sheryl has her Crossfit Level 1 Trainer
Certificate and her CrossFit Endurance Trainer Certificate.

She has completed many Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons and a half-ironman. Sheryl placed several times in her age group for triathlon. She has also participated in various CrossFit competitions, obstacle races and running races, including Tough Mudder, marathons, half-marathons, 10Ks and 5Ks.

 

Mare Bernardo- CrossFit Level 1

I am a wife and a mother of 4.  My husband and I own and operate an Italian Restaurant in Westerville.  I have been and still am a long time client of Andy & Tricia.  When Andy introduced CrossFit to his gym, I gave it a go and have never looked back.  I started CrossFit in the summer of 2012 and knew right away that I loved it.

After 2 1/2 years I got my L1 Certification and started coaching.  I have always loved being competitive and have participated in several local CF competitions , 5ks, 15ks, 1 half marathon and some obstacle races like Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder.  I run the OSU 4 Miler every year with my son.  I can do that because CrossFit keeps me ready all year long.

 

Dolph Smith- CrossFit Level 1

Dolph grew up in Gahanna and participated in high school sports including basketball, track, and volleyball.  Throughout his adult life Dolph has been active in recreational basketball, volleyball, weightlifting and running – completing several marathons, half-marathons, 5ks and 10ks, and a Tough Mudder.  In 2015, a challenge from a neighbor drew him to find a true passion for the sport of CrossFit.  The constantly varied, high intensity workouts helped him realize the true definition of functional strength and fitness, and the camaraderie and supportive environment kept him coming back for more.

In 2017 Dolph earned his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and he now enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for CrossFit with others.  He currently resides in Westerville with his wife, two children, and two dogs, and when not at the gym travels the state of Ohio as an Account Executive for a global Internet security corporation.
